Maungataniwha was a new venture where we initially created a marketing plan and a way forward for the hunting and fishing lodge.

The first thing we needed to do was understand the brand, what was on offer and what was important to the client. We created a brand that tied in the fishing and hunting subtley with the lodge offering and we built a story around it that made you think about New Zealand, misty, green and beautiful – a place to recharge, be at one with nature and try your hand at fishing and hunting.

We helped Maungataniwha create a website, brochure, advertisements, letterhead and business cards. Their brochures were a hit and rocketed out the door of all the outlets we put them in.

Developing this fantastic brand and collateral has been a highlight for ExpressPR, and we even managed to instigate a visit by our old mate Jim Eagles, the travel editor at the New Zealand Herald. (Jim has one of the best jobs in the world!!!). Jim wrote a fantastic piece about Maungataniwha in the Weekend Herald’s Canvas magazine giving Maungataniwha exposure across the country. This resulted in numerous calls and enquiries for the Lodge.
